Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season, premiering on CBS 5 August 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator, and was one of the early hosts on The Talk. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work. Then it was when she began writing that her real passion was revealed. Additionally, she was awarded an Emmy award for her outstanding host of a talk show. From 2002 until 2010 Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor, and also the news anchor for The Early Show. After 9/11 she went to Cairo to conduct an interesting and fascinating interview. While completing her last academic year at the University, she served as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as the producer of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). In her desk-assistant role to ABC News late night broadcast Nightline She worked alongside Ted Koppel. He remains an inspiration to her in the field of journalism. Chen Moonves and Ted Koppel were co-hosts for Anatomy of a Riot - a primetime television special that won the Columbia du-Pont award - which focused on the Los Angeles riots of 1992.
