Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish was an Australian actor. Born on 7 August 1982. Cornish is best known for her role as Heidi In Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009), Sweet pea from Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah on Geostorm(2017). She is also a part of the team along with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. The latter movie Cornish won her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin starred in Adventureland, (2009) while Ann McDonough was in The Mothman Prophecies and other films. The affection and love of her parents helped make the choice to go into acting an easy choice for the younger Betty Gilpin. Fordham College was her first selection when it came time to enter the college of her dreams. In Fordham she developed her skills. Gilpin auditioned, and then began to perform Off-Broadway in plays after graduating. Gilpin was cast as the lead in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001-2011, and later small roles in Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin kept landing mostly TV guest spots throughout the following years before she got her first break, in 2013, when she was offered a role as Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes until Nurse Jackie was removed in June of 2015. In the same year Gilpin was in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
