Anya Volz was born in Vermont and is now residing living in New York City. Her show has been praised as hilarious and not at all preachy by men all across America. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she did not learn English, hoping to go again to Argentina. Her school had to change to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She quit high school at 16 to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's desire to become an actress professionally began at a very young age.
